One of the people posting said they were not interested in the global situation, as Japan has enough of its own problems, that is fair, I guess.
However, I once heard a quote that said "If America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold". This was talking about global economics.
We can see all the problems with fiscal deficit issues in Europe, Greece, is the best example.
In terms of Japan, it has the biggest deficit in the world. That needs to be addressed, and quickly, in my opinion.
Increasing consumption tax is certainly a good start!!
